Toy Machine Gun is a 4-piece alternative rock band from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Formed by Mark Strothmann (Bass, Vocals) and Sam Taylor (Vocals, Guitar) while still teenagers, they’re joined by childhood friends Chad Larkin (Guitar, Vocals) and Rob Reinke (Drums).

Toy Machine Gun adheres to their influences of classic and alternative rock, channeling it into classics like “Dubrighteststar,” “No Second Guess,” and “10 Cent Lemonade.”  Toy Machine Gun’s sophomore album, initially released in 2005, demonstrates their growth with a dynamic set featuring the title track Split the Dayz, 106 Miles, Sonic Legend, and Hippy Igloo.

Their unique sound captures the spirit of a life-long friendship and love of rock-n-roll. Toy Machine Gun crafts catchy songs with a dash of sentimentality that describe their experience and adventures growing up in the land of Gene Wilder, Harley Davidson, and breweries.  Ton-Up Records re-issued the band’s 2002 debut, Where’s the Mansion, and their 2005 follow-up album, Split the Dayz, on March 28, 2025.  The band will be releasing their highly anticipated third album in 2026,
